Visiting With Kids

Family-friendly tips

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Short & Sweet

The standard pod ride is around 25 minutes - ideal if you’ve got little ones who don’t love long museum stops.

🍼

Buggies

Space inside the pod can be limited at busy times. A small foldable buggy is easiest if you’re bringing one.

Accessibility

Brighton i360 states it is fully accessible, and visitors with disabilities can bring a companion to the pod free of charge.

What to See & Do

Best bits on-site

🌅 Sunset Views

On clear evenings, you can catch the sun dropping into the sea with Brighton’s coastline glowing below. Check visibility before you book.

🥂 Sky Bar

Standard tickets include access to the Sky Bar, so you can enjoy a drink while you take in the view (alcohol only served to 18+).

Sky Walk & Climb

If you want adrenaline, there are premium experiences like Sky Walk (open-air) and the Climb Experience (select dates).

Peak Crowd Heatmap

When to expect the biggest queues

🟢 Weekday Daytime

Calmer flights. Fewer queues and better chances of space by the windows for photos.

🟡 Weekends

Busy but manageable. Expect more families and day-trippers, especially in summer.

🔴 Sunset & Special Events

Peak demand. Sunset slots and evening experiences often fill up first.

Trav’s Insider Hack: Check Visibility First

Trav, the Brighton travel mascot

“Squawk! The i360 is all about the view - so don’t just pick a time slot randomly. If low cloud or sea mist is forecast, swap to another day or go earlier. A clear winter afternoon can beat a hazy summer evening every time!”
